Currently, esports data is not widely accessible, very granular or available in real-time. GRID is solving these challenges by working closely together with tournament organizers and game publishers, transforming their raw bespoke data into a suite of game agnostic and easy-to-use APIs.

GRID’s Tournament Operations Team is looking to expand and scale their efforts through maintaining and building quality of service through GRID’s tournament partners broadcast. The team is young and full of opportunities to expand in a very exciting and thriving area of the business. As a tournament services operator, you will be responsible to drive, execute and work closely with our Tournament partners, aligning with GRID’s vision and mission of consolidating the esports scene through leveraging data rights towards sustainability. This ranges from tracking tournament inventory and designs whilst ensuring our partner’s tournaments are operating smoothly, to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners. This includes frequent meetings and communication with partners, creating and maintaining documentation (both internal and external) and delivering reports to management and external stakeholders. You will be expected to be proactive in your approach to work, in order to ensure all activation and tasks are delivered in a timely manner and align with the company vision. Your work will also feature close cooperation with internal teams such as Media Operations and Activations in order to drive tasks and expectations, set up workflows and documentation related to GRID’s Tournament Services. The Tournament Operations role within GRID is to support and build on sustainable activations for our partners sponsors. Guaranteeing renewed and healthy relationships.

What we look for:

  • Extensive knowledge of CS:GO esports
  • Experience with online betting/gaming
  • Previous experience in tournament management
  • Experience with working into processes and software such as Google Drive, Microsoft Office, JIRA, Confluence
  • Able to communicate clearly and professionally across a variety of channels such as Slack, Discord, Skype, Gmail
  • English (spoken and written) on a B2+ level

What you will do:

  • Collaborate and follow processes of other departments within GRID to build successful pieces of work together
  • Work with our production partners and ensure they deliver their services in line with our client requirements and GRID’s vision
  • Manage tournament inventory and ensure timely delivery, identify potential new areas of inventory in order to expand the building process
  • Maintain strict adherence to budget, timeline, and all requirements agreed with our clients and partners
  • Ensure that partnered events are successfully held with minimal issues and take prompt steps to resolve any that may jeopardize the success of a partner’s event
  • Track our affiliate and activation data, maintain documentation and prepare reports on our affiliate statistics that will aid other departments with improving the overall results
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our clients and partners, deliver partner reports, and ensure all stakeholders are up to date with relevant information
  • Prepare and maintain viewership documentation, collect viewership data post-tournament and deliver reports on viewership statistics
