GRID offers an industry-leading platform making official real-time data and statistics services available to those building data-driven products in the esports industry.

What we look for

  • 5+ years experience in a software engineering/ data engineering position
  • Language agnostic - The candidate should be able to quickly pick up a new programming language.
  • Strong SQL skills. Both when it comes to designing schemas and writing complex queries
  • Experience building and maintaining services in production
  • Experience writing efficient and well-tested code
  • Experience with stream-processing (Kafka)
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions, e.g. AWS or GCP.
  • While not a hard requirement, it's beneficial if the candidate has a basic understanding on machine learning systems
  • Based in Berlin or Wroclaw but also open to remote locations

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain GRID's feature store, depended on to publish accurate predictions around what will occur during a live esports match
  • Design and build scalable and efficient data pipelines
  • Deploy and operate services which rely on machine-learning models in a production environment where stability and performance are paramount
  • Work together with Product Owner and Data Scientists to ensure high data quality
