Currently, esports data is not widely accessible, very granular or available in real-time. GRID is solving these challenges by working closely together with tournament organizers and game publishers, transforming their raw bespoke data into a suite of game agnostic and easy-to-use APIs.

GRID’s Activations team is looking to expand and scale their efforts through tournament broadcast inventory and initiatives. The team is young and full of opportunities to expand in a very exciting area of the business. As a member of the activations team, you will be overlooking GRID’s array of broadcast partners and helping to build a successful portfolio of customers using a variety of different marketing methods across several channels. You will be expected to use creativity and market research to help develop a successful viewership experience that includes high quality production, customer success and over all, lots of enjoyable CS:GO content. This is an exciting opportunity to dive into the world of esports broadcasting and build success stories with creative thinking and innovation.
What we look for:
- Experience in esports marketing
- Experience with online betting/gaming preferred
- Experience with running sponsorship/partner accounts is preferred
- High level of esports industry knowledge
- Experienced with working into processes and software such as Google Drive, Microsoft Office, JIRA, Confluence
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally across a variety of channels such as Slack, Discord, Skype, Gmail.
What you will do:
- Be responsible for the success of commercial sponsorships across esports events
- Run activation campaigns for partners with objectives such as new registrations
- Attentively watch a variety of esports matches in order to study, change and improve our inventory which shall ultimately lead to higher revenue across our efforts
- Create your own initiatives that are measurable and strategic. GRID are willing to provide resources to aid you in this area.
- Own external partnerships with broadcasting, sponsorships & other media partners across esports broadcasts
- Track affiliate partnership data and actively create change for success where necessary
- Conceptualize and deliver new inventory for external media partners on areas such as broadcasts and advertising
- Communicate with politeness and professionalism with a variety of external partners
- Build relationships with external partners on a humane level
- Track and hold data for your accounts in order to create reports that will be viewed company wide
- Distribute operational tasks towards other departments via GRID’s processes

- Analytical - An analytical mind will encourage better optimization of broadcast inventory and engagement with the partners brand. This ultimately will improve the success of the partnerships.
- Creative - A creative mind will be important for innovation and seeing ideas and opportunities that may be going unnoticed currently. With a huge volume of content to make use of and an open minded business at your disposal, we require creativity in this role to build new concepts.
