As a Game Developer at Gram Games, you'll jump onto one of our largest projects and put yourself right in the center of the action. You will report to the team technical lead, but ideally you are self-motivated and able to define your own tasks. You are confident in your abilities, excited to volunteer solutions to problems, and willing to work collaboratively across all teams and disciplines. You will use your unique skills to help deliver a quality entertainment experience to millions of players.

You will be expected to...

  • Develop new features and gameplay systems in C# and Unity.
  • Debug and resolve issues in a very large codebase.
  • Invent tools to streamline development and improve quality of life for your teammates.
  • Support artists and designers in creating and releasing content.
  • Participate in code reviews and give constructive feedback to your teammates.
  • Independently create quality solutions to tricky problems

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of C# coding and design patterns.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing games in Unity.
  • Previously shipped at least one product in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate abilities in one or more areas of game development like gameplay, UI, graphics, social, multiplayer, 2D/3D, or tools.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.

Desirable Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science/Game Development or related field.
  • Experience developing, optimising or debugging mobile games.
  • Knowledge of Git, Bash, Python, Google Script, Go, Objective-C, or Java.
  • Understand the game project life cycle, from prototyping and development to live-ops.
  • Portfolio of game jams or independent games development.
