We are looking for a Social Media/Community Manager who will administer social media accounts, develop social media strategies and grow communities for our clients. We are looking for someone to join the team initially for 2 months with the potential of the role becoming a permanent position. The ideal candidate will be able to accept a full-time long-term contract after the initial 2 month period is complete.

Responsibilities
- Oversee social media accounts on Instagram and Discord.
- Design and implement social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, copywriting, photos, videos and news).
- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency.
- Proactively engage with the wider community, building relationships with members of the community.
- Devise and implement community communication initiatives.
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
- Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. profile pictures).
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies.
Requirements
- BA or BSC degree(s) in marketing or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of work experience in social media/community management
- Strong understanding of the gaming and esports industries.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Previous experience in digital marketing.
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
- Strong knowledge of Google Workspace (Gdrive, G Suite, Gmail etc.).
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
- Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Being able to multitask and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a good working PC/laptop with a good camera and headset.
- Good internet connection.
- Flexibility to travel to other countries, sometimes at short notice (Covid-19 permitting).
- In-depth knowledge and experience of Instagram and Discord.
Desirable
- Strong understanding of the Crypto, Blockchain, GamFi industries.
- Fluent in multiple languages.
- Knowledge of and/or experience of creative tools eg Photoshop/After Effects etc.
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
- Previous experience in leading and managing SEO/SEM, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
- Knowledge of social media platforms including Twitch, Twitter, Telegram, TikTok etc.
