Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience managing social media accounts with a unified, singular, and consistent voice and applying that voice to multiple products.
  • Experience with brand or games marketing.
  • Experience with the game development process and marketing products to game developers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience at a video game platform driving social media marketing.
  • Proficiency using image and video editing software.
  • Aptitude for making both consumers and business partners happy with your work.
  • Demonstrated thought-leadership and relationship management with senior stakeholders and external partners.

Social Marketers establish the foundation for integrating social into all Google user touch points -- from advertising campaigns to event marketing to customer service -- in a clear and consistent way. We collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing leads to help align earned awareness marketing with the product and business roadmap. You will use data-driven analysis and insights to improve campaign effectiveness and value to the business, as well as best in class online advertising solutions across Google’s key marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all social media presence for Stadia across multiple sites.
  • Understand the Stadia brand voice, why it works, and how it can be improved.
  • Build reporting structure and “ways of working” with central content management and other parts of Google.
  • Create assets for social media purposes, including static and motion graphics.
  • Engage directly with third-party game makers to help promote their games with scalable solutions.
