Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience as an Associate Producer, or within a similar role.
  • Experience with working on a full-cycle game production involving multiple disciplines.
  • Experience working on shipped Console, PC and/or mobile games.
  • Ability to travel (domestically and internationally) up to 25% of the time.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Production experience in an established publishing organization.
  • Expertise and experience in one area of game development (design, art, engineering, etc.).
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility with engineers, artists and designers by taking on work that is immediately useful to external studios.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with various levels of stakeholders within the business.
  • Passion for games, an understanding of the industry and the knowledge of what makes great interactive entertainment.

About the job

As an Associate Producer within Second Party teams, you will support the development and launch of video games on Stadia. You will work on complex, multi-disciplinary game projects and collaborate with external development partners and internal production teams to deliver industry-leading interactive entertainment on Stadia. This includes tracking schedules, reviewing milestones, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span multiple offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of high quality games on time and on budget while building excellent working relationships with external game development studios.
  • Assist Leads in identifying and/or removing any roadblocks to projects hitting quality and schedule goals, as well as managing build schedules, deliveries, and distribution.
  • Collaborate across many internal groups, including Engineering, Art, Design, Marketing, Business Development, Finance, Legal, etc.
  • Create milestone schedules and organize cross-disciplinary project assessments of second party projects.
  • Work with QA, Localization, Ratings, Voice Over, Live Operations, User Research and other key support teams to successfully launch game titles on Stadia to production team leadership to help ensure product is meeting quality and feature goals.
