Reporting to the Account Supervisor, the primary responsibility of this position is to support the Comcast/Xfinity Gaming & Esports program including but not limited to: administrative and management support of corporate sponsorship(s) entitlements / assets and the brand's social, content and creative. Providing day-to-day program and administrative support will be a top priority in this role.

GMR Marketing supports Comcast with a variety of marketing efforts including; Corporate Sports Strategy & Activation, University Marketing, Business Services, Gaming & Esports, Olympics Sponsorships and NASCAR Strategy & Activation. This position is on the Comcast Gaming & Esports team.

YOUR IMPACT //

  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of gaming & esports landscape; provide regular research and analytic reports
  • Maintain attendance and punctuality for all pertinent business meetings and functions, and provide administrative support as requested, including preparing meeting agendas, status reports and recap notes, and development of program materials
  • Work with internal GMR teams and vendors to provide quotes and estimates for program development
  • Assist with managing sponsorship and activation marketing plans and program elements
  • Work closely with GMR support teams to manage and fulfill client requests according to specifications and time and budget parameters
  • Execution and daily management of program planning and activation, which may include experiential, social & digital elements
  • When applicable, travel for the purpose of planning and implementation of programs
  • Other duties as assigned by the account leadership team

YOUR EXPERIENCE //

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field; Communications/Marketing degree preferred
  • Minimum one year of events and/or project management experience
  • A positive, hard-working mindset; willing to tackle projects of all size and scale
  • Previous experience in marketing and/or entertainment, event or sports fields; gaming & esports preferred
  • Willingness to travel to activations and other events; usually over weekends; and occasionally holidays
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent communications skills, written and oral, including client presentation skills
  • Social media management and knowledge strongly preferred. Knowledge of all platforms required
  • Ability to work independently and on a team, succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; experience in client management is a major plus
