Glu’s Hyderabad studio is Glu’s largest studio, with over 250 employees. The studio’s ‘Live-Ops’ team helps run and grow revenue for some of Glu’s most critical games. In addition, the studio functions as an analytical powerhouse for the company developing prototypes as well as market leading in-game experimentation strategies. Lastly, we have many pods of teams actively working together with Glu HQ to drive development of our newest titles. We are looking for an accomplished Business Leader to join our Studio Leadership Team as ‘Senior Product Manager’

You might be our new Senior PM if you:

  • Have a minimum of 4 years of authentic, hands-on experience in Product Management of the B2C Digital kind – We would love it if some of that experience is in Gaming. Consumer Internet, Mobile Product Development and Digital Retail would be other close domain matches and we look for demonstrable depth in providing Strategic and Functional leadership.
  • Are positively animated about driving Product Success in a highly competitive Business and Sincere about leading the Product Management Team to shape the careers of your Team members. Key attributes include authentic understanding of Digital Consumer Behaviours and Business models, Sharp analytical skills, Ability to create and institutionalize Product and Business measurement frameworks and Articulate strategies. Ability to communicate in a global environment and the temperament to perform in a truly Cross-Functional set-up is critical.
  • Are hands-on and love solving complex problems. A Senior PM at Glu gets their hands dirty and actively writes and consults on specs, drives overall research strategy and ensures that all product decisions are based on in- depth analysis. The Senior PM also heavily engages with Glu HQ Leadership on roadmap planning and studio strategy.

Key tasks for the role include :

  • Weekly tracking and reporting on key KPI (retention, monetization, LTV) and progress against budget across the portfolio of games
    • Analyse game features and systems such as live ops events, sales & offers, storefront design, tutorials, level progression, ad placements, and marketing strategies, and recommend for improvements
    • Monitor performance of ad networks and the best Ad products to utilize, recommending how to maximize ad revenue while creating a positive user experience.
  • Recommend and track A/B tests to maximize KPIs on individual games and across entire portfolio.
    • Present quarterly plans to increase KPI for IAP and Ads with each product n the portfolio

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in product management in consumer products
    • Experience in consumer mobile or game development is preferred but not required
    • Ability to build wire-frames, product specifications and white papers
    • Experience with managing dynamic applications and multivariate testing
    • Ability to lead, motivate, and influence people at all levels towards a common goal
    • Exceptional data analysis and problem-solving skills. SQL querying abilities is a strong plus
  • Strong project management skills and ability to present work to executive team
    • Previous experience in working with and coordinating large-scale projects with central teams is a strong plus
  • Strong passion for Mobile gaming and understanding of Mobile + Freemium Business model. Accountability for Business Outcomes.
  • Fluency with metrics driven decision making combined with a sense of Design and Aesthetics – Games are the high point of convergence between Art and Science
    • Outstanding written/oral, organizational, analytical skills, and attention to detail
    • Ability to provide clear direction, set measurable goals and give insight on industry and competitor trends
