Role overview:

You will work directly with the Senior Product Management team in the HQ (SF) and become a core part of the team leading the studio towards more data driven decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer business-related questions through exploratory data analyses and ad-hoc reporting that helps drive engagement, retention and monetization.
  • Work cross functionally with our user acquisition, advertising, game studio, finance, and data science teams to conduct analyses and produce strategic insights to help stakeholders make informed decisions regarding live content performance and feature investment.
  • Present analysis conclusions to business stakeholders in a clear and practical way.
  • Partner with Data Engineers to manage data quality and integrity to support high-quality deliverables.
  • Provide guidance to product teams regarding data capture needs and ensure we have telemetry available to answer important questions.
  • Play the game and know it from the inside out.

You will be a great fit for the role if you have:

  • 4+ years of experience as data analyst or financial analyst.
  • 3+ years experience using SQL, including complex queries from multiple data sources.
  • 3+ years experience applying statistical analysis to consumer behaviors (video gaming, e-commerce, consumer entertainment, etc.).
  • 2+ R/Python data mining, machine learning, or statistical modeling experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including forecasting and performance marketing analysis.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills..
  • Ability to quickly prioritize and execute multiple competing projects based on business case and expected impact.
