Associate QA Tester

Experience Criteria:

More than 1 yr. of professional experience in Testing.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • Complete understanding of Bug finding, reporting and root cause analysis of bugs.
  • Complete understanding of the Test life cycle.
  • Hands-on experience with Test case writing and execution.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of Bug Tracking tools like JIRA
  • Good working experience of Test case management tools i.e., TestRail etc.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Soft skills:

  • Fluent and clear command over English as primary language (Written + Verbal).
  • Proactive, Positive, and Self-driven mentality that thrives in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot with limited direction and think out of the box.

Good to have:

  • Previous experience in game testing
  • Good understanding of iOS and Android platform knowledge
  • Hands-on programming experience or exposure.
  • ISTQB foundation certification

Responsibilities:

  • Bug Identification, reporting and RCA analysis using JIRA, Testrail and Project specific tools.
  • Test case execution and report generation using excel, Testrail and project-based tools.
  • Execution of performance runs and data collection for performance checks on daily builds.
  • Regular execution of Regressions, verification, compatibility, and deployment testing.
  • Working knowledge of platform compliance and executing the same when required.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SDK testing.
  • Regular communication to studio team on Slack channels and weekly studio video calls.
  • Basic understanding of Unity/ Game Engine if projects require the same.
  • Functionality testing, Compatibility Testing, Client Performance testing and Live ops on day-to-day tasks.
