About Ginx TV

We are an ‘early stage’ company based on a small industrial campus between London’s King’s Cross and Camden. Our channel, GINX Esports TV, is dedicated to the world of esports and we broadcast entertainment shows as well as live esports tournaments from around the world. In total there are about 30 of us. The channel is distributed to over 55 million households worldwide and is pioneering the concept of bringing esports to mainstream TV audiences.

The Role

Our production team is made up of young esports enthusiasts who produce, edit and package most of our content. We are now looking to recruit a producer to work on our daily half hour live news show and it’s off-shoot 60-second bulletins, as well as the production of weekend live event coverage and a studio-based entertainment show. We are an early-stage company and as such the role will be multi-faceted and very hands-on. You’ll feel just as comfortable leading the gallery, setting up the studio, sitting in the producer’s chair during live shows, as well as jumping onto photoshop to create a title sequence and helping with set design.

The role we are looking to fill is for a PROMO PRODUCER of which the main responsability will be creating promos, idents and short form media to fill our channel and all of it's various feeds around the globe. We are ideally looking for someone with a track record in creating promos for both in-house produced productions as well as aquired content and events. The role requires knowledge of the adobe creative suite with emphasis on Premiere and ideally After Effects/motion graphics experience.

In addition to promo production the Promo Producer would occasionally be required for work across our various in-house productions by assisting with more traditional edits of our long and short form content.

Responsibilities

  • Promo creation (on air, digital, interstitials, idents).
  • Crafting top-of-class creatives for our media platforms (e.g. digital, social, linear properties) spanning short/long-form video and still assets.
  • Liaising with Programming, Marketing and Advertising Sales – as well as external production vendors – for any creative projects
  • Some edit assistance to in-house productions.
  • Learning various production processes within Ginx including Live Production output techniques.
  • Occasionally work on live productions as part of the live gallery team.
  • Ensuring that all edited materials are up to broadcast standards (both visually as well as auditory)
  • Ensuring all edited material abides to Ofcom regulations in addition to any international broadcast standards that our partners may request.
  • Using editorial judgement to select music tracks and fill in music cue sheets

Desirable Attributes

  • A knowledge of the esports and gaming industry
  • An understanding of traditional sports television productions
  • An understanding of our target demographic (21-35 males/females)
