Purpose / Objective of the role:

Following the resignation of the incumbent, the Director of Multiplatform Content Partnerships manages the sales of all Ginx's content & services, including the linear channel, related non-linear content and mobile Apps. To broaden our appeal, you will be able to offer distribution clients the opportunity to extend their content acquisition with bespoke esports tournaments, organised by Ginx or one of its partners depending on the clients’ ambition in this area.

The objective of the role is to grow the number of, and revenue from, distribution platforms carrying our content, be they traditional cable & satellite, OTT, fixed or mobile, linear, AVOD, SVOD or TVOD. The sale of individual shows to 3rd-party broadcasters is also part of your responsibilities.

The role will work in close partnership with the SVP Multiplatform Product Development, who will provide general esports knowledge as well carry responsibility for delivery of consultancy services and tournament organisation, as well as with the CEO.

Main responsibilities:

  • Be rigorous, analytical and strategic in developing new key client prospects;
  • Approach your role from a ‘consultative sell’ perspective;
  • Deploy best in class, tailormade sales-support materials;
  • Maintain and nurture key client relationships and focus on key deal renewals;
  • Attend and prepare for key international conferences/markets, not only traditional TV/OTT ones, but also the most relevant esports ones;
  • Ensure the company is deploying resources to support sales in the most efficient manner;
  • Liaise with Marketing to ensure b-to-b marketing budgets are closely aligned with the key sales priorities;
  • Develop a consistent, coherent and powerful sales message to position GINX Esports TV to our clients in the most appealing way possible;
  • Collaborate closely with all other Ginx internal departments, to ensure that sales priorities are understood and embraced; and
  • Forecast and budget setting for Multiplatform Content Partnerships on a quarterly and annual basis.

Experience / Knowledge required:

  • Broad knowledge of multi-facetted content sales to traditional and new media, and a deep understanding of how to tailor content sales to the needs of each type of platform or within a quad play environment.
  • 4+ years in international media, in a business development or content sales related role.
  • Familiarity with and passion for esports is desirable.
