The Esports Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of Ghost Gaming’s social and digital channels including Twitter, Facebook, Twitch, YouTube, Discord, Instagram, Snapchat and Reddit. This includes daily updates that promote Ghost Gaming and our partners through showcasing video content, our players, content preview streams and anything else that has the end goal of enhancing deeper fan engagement and loyalty. The Esports Marketing Manager will develop and implement strategies to influence public opinion and promote our image within participating social/digital media channels. In addition, the Esports Marketing Manager will work closely with the CEO to fully staff out our Marketing team.

The individual will also be responsible for setting up and tracking measurable KPIs across all esports digital media channels. Monthly statistical reports will be required to ensure overarching goals are on track. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of esports and a foundation in social media, esports or sports writing/editing, and video content creation/direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
  • Must be a strong marketing generalist with working knowledge in:
  • Digital: Database, inbound, SEO, SEM, social, UGC management.
  • Growth Hacking: user acquisition and out of the box drivers.
  • Brand: Print, OOH, storytelling, partnerships / collaborations.
  • Event management
  • Channel marketing
  • Field marketing
  • Influencer marketing
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in either video games, esports, sports, or music/entertainment industries;
  • Proven leadership and project management skills;
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines;
  • Strong competency in the fullstack of software needed to run a department;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in building and managing a marketing team;
  • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills;
  • Must be comfortable in a pure lifestyle company: Gaming, Streetwear, Lifestyle, Music.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and develop Ghost Gaming’s marketing programs;
  • Coordinate closely with partners to support and execute integrated marketing campaigns;
  • Develop measurable online fan/user acquisition campaigns and execute social media strategies;
  • Work across multiple teams to develop unique positioning and messaging for Ghost Gaming;
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide reporting to CEO;
  • Manage Ghost Gaming’s social media accounts and responsible for their growth and content creation;
  • Creative direction, storyboarding, ideation, and execution of Ghost Gaming esports content;
  • Build and engage with the Ghost Gaming community and fans on a regular basis to help grow the Ghost Gaming brand
