Gfinity is looking for Call of Duty writers who can cover a wide variety of stories surrounding Warzone and the next game in the series.
Applicants do not need to have an extensive body of work, but some writing experience is required; as well as a firm knowledge of the game and its mechanics which are an absolute must.
Ideally, you live and breathe the game already and follow industry trends, new leaks and knowing instinctively what Call of Duty readers will be searching for on a day to day basis.
The Job -
- Someone who can write 3-5 articles a day, five days a week
- Writing a wide variety of news, guides and key queries asked by the community
- Pitching article ideas and taking articles that are assigned to you by editors
- Keeping abreast of news surrounding the game and writing about it in a timely manner
Essential Skills & Requirements
- Experience writing about games is a must
- Some knowledge of SEO best practice, specifically around headlines.
- Able to work independently for a set number of hours and where necessary self publish
- Organisational and time management skills
- A people person. Candidate must be able to keep comms up, give/take directions well and form relationships with the wider team
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: Dependant on experience and the number of stories produced per month
Schedule: Flexible hours that can be split across any day of the week, Monday to Sunday
