We are looking for a new freelance Arabic Editor to expand our international reach and grow our Arabic-speaking gaming community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for growing and maintaining our Arabic community through the management of the realgaming101.me website in coordination with the current in-house team.
We are looking for someone with a keen interest in video games with SEO experience and a keen eye for trending topics and topical gaming news in the MENA region.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Part-time Editor role for realgaming101.me (full time potential)
- Planning and creation of original content for the
https://realgaming101.me site daily - Reacting to breaking news daily
- Writing news and SEO articles about games the website covers
- Translating and editing articles for the RealGaming101.me site using machine translation tools
- Ensuring all articles read well in Arabic and fit the website’s tone of voice
- Work with the in-house editorial team to drive and develop the content strategy
- Create your own content based on regional trends
Essential Skills & Requirements
- Good knowledge of SEO is a bonus
- Fluent in Arabic and English - written language
- Good organisational and time management skills - Able to work semi-independently
- Available to be flexible with working times in order to attend strategy calls where necessary
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop a bonus
- Passion and knowledge of the Gaming / Esports world
