You are an experienced and seasoned sports industry executive with league and sports media experience, who thrives on driving revenue by developing new relationships, growing an existing sports account base, are comfortable with handling new business development opportunities, and have a strong network of industry contacts across the sports, sponsorship and digital media fields. You have a track record of delivering results and have a strong interest in the traditional sports businesses, as well as esports. You desire to be part of the best team in the industry.

Your Next Challenge:

  • Grows existing assigned sports account base, by understanding client’s and business needs through devising effective sales strategies to identify opportunities so that the team exceed global sport revenue targets.
  • Develop new business opportunities across all sport verticals including leagues, federations, players’ associations, sponsors, licensees, corporate, agency, media, etc.
  • Engage with partners and customers to create opportunities while deepening existing relationships and developing new relationships through customer-facing meetings, interaction and events
  • Understanding partner and customer business needs and issues to grow revenues
  • Coordinates the involvement of internal personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to reach objectives, trouble-shoot issues, and meet customers' expectations.​
  • Fosters internal relationships with cross-functional partners in all departments.​
  • Enters accurate customer and sales data into CRM and related systems.
  • Developing effective strategies to identify and close large opportunities
  • Handle all aspects of the renewal process for Key Sports Accounts, from contract and customer performance review through negotiations to closure
  • Enter accurate customer and sales data into Salesforce and related systems

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum 7-10 years business development, sales, sponsorship and licensing experience in the sports industry
  • Excellent track record in Account Management and new business development
  • Contacts and strong relationships with sports entities, player associations, sponsors, licensees, media companies
  • Ability to present solutions, persuade, negotiate and close deals which drive revenue
  • Ability to successfully interact with all levels of management, including senior executives
  • Ability to negotiate deals from inception through entire contract process and execution
  • Experience and comfort working with contracts, legal and finance
  • Experience with global markets is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, etc.
