Through organized esports competitions, students are learning to align their commitment to gaming with their success in academics and potential future careers.

We’re on the verge of transforming youth athletics for generations to come. Generation Esports is a technology company at its core, building a platform to service youth competitive esports from young kids to college students. We’re looking for an experienced K12 sales executive who will be hands-on with principals, superintendents, and administrators as they develop their esports programs. Deals can range from $1,000/year to up to $500,000/year depending on if you're signing up individuals schools or districts with multiple schools.

Role Responsibilities

  • Leverage existing K12 contacts to introduce esports solutions
  • Prospect new leads in middle schools & high schools & districts
  • Build close relationships with school administrators
  • Nurture leads from initial contact to onboarding
  • Meet sales quota goals
  • Manage and maintain your progress in our CRM database for proper data tracking
  • Schedule meetings and follow-ups with engaged prospects and existing customers
  • Share your esports knowledge with someone who is interested in offering esports for their school/district
  • Manage Purchase Orders and Invoices
  • Make sure our customers are having a good experience with onboarding onto our platform
  • Create detailed business plans designed to attain predetermined goals and quotas
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships
  • Present products to prospective clients
  • Coordinate with the Success Team to provide professional after-sales support to maximize customer loyalty
  • Remain in regular contact with your clients to understand and meet their needs
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction and to maintain the company’s reputation
  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams
  • Set and monitor sales targets

Requirements

  • Tech-savvy
  • 4+ Years of hands-on sales experience in the K12/education/edtech space for software
  • Any CRM experience
  • Tech savvy
