We’re looking for a Lead UI/UX Designer to set and implement the vision for our users’ experience and take our platform to the next level. Our product roadmap is full of features that can enhance the future of today’s youth through esports and we want a passionate Lead UI/UX Designer to help us deliver the best experience possible!
This role will give you the opportunity to be our Lead UI/UX Designer, which gives you the autonomy to recommend your preferred UI and UX design framework, while helping us build and grow our Product Design team.
Role Responsibilities
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure that designs meet the needs of our users and align with our brand.
- Own significant portions of major design initiatives, creating beautiful and usable interactive prototypes, and partnering with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Communicate and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to clearly articulate your design ideas and processes.
- Create and run usability tests in order to incorporate feedback into the final design.
- Create and extend a coherent design system.
- Abstract reusable new design patterns and code components into shared items.
- Leverage components in the pattern library and create high-fidelity mockups across different screen-sizes for further testing and development.
- Assist other organizational initiatives where design plays a key role.
- Provide support, encouragement, and recognition to the team through words and actions.
- Build strong relationships within the team and throughout the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in UI/UX Design for a SaaS Product or similar experience.
- Servant-leadership mindset.
- Mastery of your design tools - apps and techniques alike.
- Working knowledge of basic UX design principles and activities including user research methods, comparative/competitive analysis, persona creation, etc.
- A solid understanding of front-end development and technology.
- Detail-oriented, curious, collaborative, and self-starting.
- Preference for function over aesthetics.
- Portfolio of previous designs and design processes.
- Experience working on projects with multiple designers, developers, and stakeholders.
- A desire to work with a fun, growing team of developers and design professionals.
- Excellent communication skills and high degree of emotional intelligence.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Like to play video games )
