Gearbox's HR department is searching for a HRIS Analyst that will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the HRIS and all other supporting HR Information Systems, as well as how these systems interface with other proprietary and third‐party systems/solutions. This role will support and maintain the Human Resources system of record, as well as assist in implementation of a new systems as needed. This position will support ongoing process improvement/implementation activities to bring greater efficiency to HR as well as the entire company. This role is also responsible for performing system enhancements, system maintenance, system testing, system upgrades and related data integrity.
Res:
- Responsible for troubleshooting, analyzing, detecting, identifying, and correcting technical problems and deficiencies in a timely manner
- Assist with design and implementation of HR systems, document process and results
- Analyze current process and recommend modifications
- Responsible for generating reports and analyses.
- Develop and maintain system training material and business process documentation
- Analyze issues concerning systems affecting internal and external vendors; this may include software issues, software changes, and/or new software packages.
- Provide excellent customer support for global internal and external customers regarding system issues and outages. Liaise with vendors when escalated issues arise.
- Continually upgrade knowledge and skill base related to HRIS products and integrated systems, to maintain capabilities at the highest possible level.
- Assist in ensuring data integrity across standardized QA checks and balances
- Audit data for accuracy and partner with end users and HR as appropriate for resolution
- Closely monitor the customer upgrade experience and report on break downs and system failures
- Review complete documentation of changes
- Test product changes in test environments to help determine the uptake of the changes from current state
- Understand system capabilities and configuration options for bug fixes
- Support the functional configuration to satisfy requests for fixes, changes, enhancements and/or compliance related responsibilities
- Make configuration changes as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee records
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- BS degree in related field or related work experience
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated HRIS and must demonstrate a career in HR Technology progression
- Prior experience with Workday preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills
- Ability to handle confidential information in a confidential manner
- Strong computer skills are required in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- High level of technical expertise including experience with HRIS systems
- Strong organizational skills, project management a plus
- Enthusiastic learner, eager to meet challenges and quickly assimilate new concepts
- Ability to work independently and with teams in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize, communicate effectively, pay attention to detail and produce high quality work in a timely manner
- Experience with HRIS Implementation
