Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day handling of the esports social media channels, including creative publishing through the game platform
- Craft media and content strategies while collaborating with creatives and esports teams in ensuring the quality of engagement
- Drive and coordinate the editorial calendar in order to ensure esports brand consistency and clear communications across all platforms
- Create actionable plans to grow and build the esports fan base across all social media platforms
- Research and evaluate the latest esports trends and social media techniques, including running social media analysis on esports competitors and communities
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Min. 1 - 2 years of experience in social media and community
- Marketing and communications experience in esports, traditional sports, or entertainment
- Social-media savvy: has a solid understanding of social media platforms, market trends, and methodologies, particularly in relation to esports branding and engagement
- Creative communicator: able to implement two-way communication with the community through engaging content with strong copywriting and editing skills for each platform
- Early adopter: able to actively research and evaluate the "new thing" in the market, and turn it into an impactful social media strategy
- Avid learner: has a passion for constant learning in a fast-paced esports environment and rapid social media trend evolution
