Job Description:

  • Lead the development of strategic content and social media campaigns that align with global strategy and help meet the goals of your team
  • Anticipate potential negative coverage and serve as an adept crisis communications manager
  • Manage communities on all marketing channels
  • Pitch media to produce stories on BOOYAH! and manage the system to keep media updated and informed on the latest news
  • Land positive coverage of BOOYAH! across all social media marketing channels including Facebook, Twitter, Discord, Instagram and YouTube
  • Help manage communications content strategy, including photography, throughout the year and for specific marketing campaigns
  • Help manage Global Communications efforts, from story creating through the on-site media experience, for all BOOYAH! Events
  • Work with team to develop earned media measurement standards across BOOYAH! and set up systems for tracking and distributing reports/clips/coverage to partners

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in social media management
  • Marketing and communications experience in esports, traditional sports, or entertainment
  • At least 6 years managing communications strategy for major, public-facing products
  • Passionate about games with knowledge of the gaming industry
  • Strong communication and networking skills
  • Able to handle multiple tasks in an organized manner and deliver under pressure
  • Proven work in running the social media community is a plus
  • Language proficient in Hindi and English (Tamil is a plus)
