Responsibilities

L&D

  • Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers and employees.
  • Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees.
  • Develops training programs(Garenas Academy, etc.) to fulfill staff´s specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.
  • Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats, including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.
  • Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
  • Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
  • Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
  • Prepares and implements training budget; maintains records and reports of expenses.

Performance Management

  • Deliver and coordinate talent management programs to include performance management, career path development, succession planning, high potential development, leadership competencies, and employee engagement, amongst other talent management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HRM and Business leaders to develop and implement appropriate interventions for performance improvement.
  • Ensure performance management is well aligned and connected to developmental planning.
  • Monitor the development of key talent by ensuring that development plans are in place and achieved while also guaranteeing readiness for the next likely assignment.
  • Assesses capabilities and developmental needs to design formal and informal strategies with a focus on executive leaders and HiPo talents
  • Seek opportunities to link talent management processes with other key HR processes.
  • Partner with business leaders to build and drive successful talent review processes and control succession and development plans.
  • As required, recommend, negotiate and maintain vendor contracts and ensure vendors deliver quality services and products while maintaining cost-competitive.
  • Execute robust talent management processes and practices that align with Garena´s culture and business needs.
  • Supporting managers and trainers solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups;
  • Carrying out all other reasonable requests in pursuit of continuous improvement;

Requirements

  • Bachelor´s degree in Psychology, Education, Administrations or a similar field.
  • 5+ years experience in HR related functions that includes development and talent review.
  • Ability to operate independently with direction from manager.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Experience in designing, developing and delivering training material.
  • Experience in developing a training strategy and understanding of different training methods and channels.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders at the same time.
  • Demonstrated personal drive and sense of urgency pushing self and others for results; delivers on results despite obstacles.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
  • Proven coaching and influence skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in portuguese and english.
