We are currently looking for a 3D programmer to join our team. The successful candidate will participate in the production of a new multiplatform game for PC and console, and will work with well-known licences!
From the beginning of your adventure with us, you will be tasked with:
- Developing, improving and maintaining games' rendering pipelines
- Taking responsibility for games' graphic performance across many platforms
- Programming tools needed by other contributors
- Staying up to date on the latest rendering techniques and GPUs
- Working closely with game designers and the graphics teams to overcome various game constraints and implement each element
Qualifications
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a computer graphic programmer
- University degree in computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent
- Mastery of C++ and/or C# programming languages
- Experience in console development (Xbox, PS4) is an asset
- Knowledge of rendering pipelines
- Knowledge of at least one of the following graphics APIs: OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan and/or Metal
- Experience in the video-game industry
- Organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- Fluency in English and French, both spoken and written
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to optimize code size and speed to maximize upon the technical capabilities of each platform
- Programming in a methodical, structured manner
- Clear personal interest in video games, connected with strong knowledge of gaming-industry culture
- Strong communicator who works well on a team
