For this role you will be a part of FreshPlanet, a small gaming studio who recently joined Gameloft. FreshPlanet specializes in making high quality casual mobile games that mix social and pop culture elements. FreshPlanet is most famous for creating SongPop, the biggest music trivia game in the world with over 120 million players so far and winner of a BAFTA and Webby Award.
Job Description
We are looking for a Product Designer who will collaborate on the design and user experience of our game SongPop 2, the biggest music trivia game in the world. You will create intuitive, simple, and beautiful designs that will delight our millions of players around the world.
Role:
- Championing the design of new game features with a focus on compelling user experiences and exciting designs
- Creating awesome UI illustrations, designs and animations, and cool new characters for the game
- Creating stunning mobile UI screens and on-screen graphics, and working alongside mobile engineers and product managers to create innovative game and app interfaces
- Developing and maintaining mobile design mockups, user flows, detailed specifications and other design documents in a very iterative environment
- Creating additional graphic design materials for the game (marketing, emails, promotional videos…)
Qualifications
About You:
- 3+ years of experience in mobile product design and UI/UX, for a mobile app or game
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, autonomous and adaptable
- Advanced knowledge of Flash/Animate, Illustrator, and Sketch/XD/Figma
- Good Knowledge of Premiere, After Effects or similar animation tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An exceptional online portfolio featuring examples of visual design work is required
