Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Marketing Creative Director to join our team. Reporting to the Studio Marketing Director, you’ll be in charge of designing and leading the production of all marketing materials needed to make the games developed at the Montreal studio shine.

You’ll oversee a team of 10 artists (motion designers, 2D artists, 3D artists and video editor). Your experience will allow you to effectively guide and inspire this talented team, and your creative vision will allow you, as a team, to deliver high-quality video and static content that adheres to specific requirements (timing, external partner approval, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

  • Defining an impactful and consistent artistic direction for marketing that's in alignment with the brand, experience and strategy.
  • Working closely with the Studio Marketing Director, the marketing team and the product teams.
  • Supervising and approving work completed by the team to ensure that the elements produced comply with the vision for the game and also meet standards for quality.
  • Serving as an inspirational role model for all members of the creative team.
  • Being ready to take a hands-on approach and help the artists with their tasks, if needed.
  • Setting artistic guidelines and formulating quality standards in line with industry leaders (on mobile/console/PC).

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have

  • At least 7 years of experience in audiovisual production, at a creative agency, or in a related field
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Proven work experience in art direction as a team leader or supervisor
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of, and a passion for, video games
  • An appetite for innovation and business/communication insight
  • Creativity and pragmatism in finding solutions that help overcome obstacles and advance the project
  • The ability to multitask and juggle several projects at once
