We are currently looking for a Computer Support Technician to offer internal IT support to a varied clientele (artists, designers, programmers, administrative staff, etc.) in order to ensure the proper functioning of their workstations, software and other peripherals.

From the beginning of your adventure with us, you will be tasked with:

  • Providing PC support and troubleshooting hardware and software on employee systems (issues with email, network, and peripheral equipment, for example)

  • Installing applications and operating systems, upgrading and performing maintenance according to standards defined by U42 (Global Network Services Team)

  • Installing and deploying hardware, including PCs, consoles and printers.

  • Documenting and preparing FAQs

  • Managing the inventory of IT equipment and licenses

  • Sending and receiving equipment to/from other studios

  • Support remote and office users via ‘Zoom’, ‘Mattermost’ etc.

  • Follow up and answer any requests received from ‘JIRA service desk’.

  • Performing all other related tasks

Qualifications

Experience and qualifications:

  • Experience as a computer technician in a technical support service, an asset

  • Studies in Computer Science or a related field

  • Experience managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a large installed base of PC computers (mainly Windows 10/11) in a dynamic environment

  • Experience with enterprise-class deployment and inventory applications is an asset

  • Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

  • Good sense of analysis and able to solve configuration problems

  • Able to work under pressure in an ever-changing environment

  • Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and learn quickly

  • Fluency in English and French both oral and written
