Gameloft Montreal is seeking a new junior product manager to join the team working on DISNEY DREAMLIGHT VALLEY, a brand cross-platform hybrid life-sim/adventure game already in early access! Rich with quests, exploration, and engaging activities featuring iconic Disney and Pixar friends, Disney Dreamlight Valley is a 100%-original Gameloft Montreal production, designed by a passionate team just waiting for you to join them!

Your main responsibility will be to define and evolve the game's monetization strategy to maximize revenue across all global distribution channels. Your role will be essential to the success of our game and you will work alongside the Product Management team, Creative Director and Lead Game Designer to carry out this mission.

From the beginning of your adventure with us, you will be tasked with:

  • Working closely with the production team, particularly the Producer and Creative Director, to define and evolve the monetization strategy

  • Collaborating with design and production teams throughout the different phases of the game's lifecycle to help define features and influence their design to impact monetization

  • Gathering, persuading, and informing the various members of the production team involved directly or indirectly in monetization issues (Game Economy Designer, Data Analyst, Product Manager, Design Team, Producer) to ensure ongoing and effective collaboration

  • Identifying and defining indicators, metrics, and trend charts to track performance; conducting in-depth analyses to extract conclusions and recommendations; re-evaluating existing tools and indicators to refine and deepen the analyses

  • Thinking creatively to overcome unique obstacles and proposing an innovative artistic vision to define the graphic or creative elements of a feature

  • Working with data analysts to evaluate current strategies and proposing new ways to optimize and maximize game revenue

  • Presenting progress updates to all stakeholders involved

  • Analyzing the competition and conducting assessments to influence the strategic plan for features

Qualifications

  • About 2 years’ experience or more in the video games industry

  • Experience managing or creating free-to-play online/mobile and/or PC and console games with a focus on monetization

  • True passion for the video game industry, including both PC/console and mobile games; has played most high-grossing games and is an advanced player on at least one of them

  • Can do a game teardown on the spot, focusing on industry best practices

  • Proven ability to turn customer needs into game elements and prioritize them in a product roadmap

  • Able to communicate and support complex ideas clearly and concisely

  • Able to plan, organize and complete multiple projects simultaneously, under pressure and within very tight deadlines
