Job Description

Join our talented team as we embark on an uncharted gaming adventure! We're on the lookout for an Game Designer to contribute their skills to our Dungeons & Dragons® PC/console project. This innovative game will blend action-RPG/survival features with the unique elements of life-simulation games to redefine the genre and capture the imaginations of players worldwide.

As an intermediate game designer, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the design and improvement of the game's features. Your role will consist of providing innovative ideas and participating in the creation of a captivating world, all while guiding and supporting team members in the fulfillment of their duties. We are looking for someone with intermediate experience.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Generating new ideas to create or improve features

  • Keeping the player at the heart of your design process

  • Writing documents to support feature creation

  • Carrying out follow-ups on the progress of those features

  • Maintaining constant communication and following up with the various departments

Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years' professional experience in game design

  • Excellent knowledge of the game market

  • At least one title published on console/PC while in a game design role

  • Diploma of College Studies in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Video Games or equivalent

  • English-French bilingualism is an asset

  • Considerable experience with multimedia software (Office, Adobe, Atlassian)

Skills and Profile

  • Passion for Dungeons & Dragons, and survival crafting games

  • Able to work in Agile mode, not afraid of failure, and able to bounce back quickly, if necessary

  • Able to make decisions in a complex environment

  • Open-minded and empathetic

  • Passion for video games and their history

  • Ability to present one's ideas (verbally and in writing)

  • Open-minded, with a love of teamwork

  • A big imagination!
