Job Description

Gameloft Brisbane is looking for a communication specialist to join its communication department. Under the supervision of the director of communications, the communication specialist will promote Gameloft Brisbane’s brand image to its various audiences. Through their passion and creativity, the person in this position will demonstrate their organizational skills, communication skills and sense of initiative.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking part in the creation and development of communications plans

  • Coordinating public-relations work

  • Suggesting and seizing upon relevant potential opportunities for increased visibility

  • Managing Gameloft Brisbane’s various social networks (LinkedIn and X (as a priority) and other relevant platforms)

  • Drafting press documents, and developing newsletters and video content

  • Performing media and digital monitoring

  • Contributing to communications for the entire studio

  • Taking part in the organisation of events and support participants to thrive

  • Coordinating the production of multimedia content (photos, videos, etc.) in order to enhance Gameloft Brisbane’s brand image

  • Initiating and taking part in various projects (HR, CSR, employer brand, corporate culture)

  • Contributing to efforts to mobilize teams as part of various projects that aim to improve the corporate brand

  • Handling all other related tasks

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years’ experience in communications in the tech industry

  • Degree in communications preferable, with experience in public relations or a related field

  • Excellent writing skills in English

  • Good understanding of integrated communications

  • Good grasp of local and national media

  • Knowledge of social media, especially LinkedIn

  • Ability to collaborate with Gameloft’s various departments and game teams

  • Ability to support managers, to put in place strategies, and to innovate

  • Ability to work in a team, with a strong sense of initiative and a creative spirit

  • Thorough, with good people skills, organisational skills and sound judgment

  • From time to time, participate in calls with other studios and take part in assignments that may take place outside normal working hours (for example, taking part in global calls or industry events on a weekday evening or weekend).

  • The ability to come to the studio at least three a week
