Description
Gamelevate is seeking a Partnerships Manager that has a passion for Esports and the Gaming industry, to help us build a Partner Network that will play an integral role in our Commercial Strategy and growth plans. You will work closely with key stakeholders of the Gamelevate team who operate globally and play a pivotal role in the growth of our business. The current role opening is for an independent contractor.
As a Partnerships Manager, you will leverage Gamelevate’s unique content, as well as other capabilities across our website, community and social channels, and new digital media properties to generate revenue. You should be a natural communicator, as you will be responsible for the continuous growth of our network and bring a genuine, creative approach to engaging new partners within the world of esports.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a Partner Network of Endemic and Non-Endemic brands, working collaboratively with them to deliver activations across Gamelevate’s channels
- Identify, prioritize, and execute against opportunities that will support Gamelevate’s commercial objectives
- Aid in the development of commercial strategies with full accountability of new business development, partner management, and new revenue stream generation.
- Understand the motivations and expectations of brand partners - working closely with key stakeholders to develop and create strategies for them with the ability to scale
- Manage a pipeline of multiple opportunities and meet agreed revenue targets
- Prepare and present pipeline reviews to the Gamelevate management team during commercial meetings
- Provide weekly reports on key tasks, progress, challenges, and blockers
- Negotiate agreements that fully maximize Gamelevate’s assets and the profitability of the relationship
- Ensure streamlined processes on commercial efforts including negotiating pricing and deliverables, creation of commercial agreements and contracts, and collecting contract signatures
- Assist in the iteration of Gamelevate’s commercial offering to brand partners, actively seeking feedback from existing relationships to ensure we continue to offer the most competitive opportunities and packages
- Be an internal ambassador for partners within Gamelevate
- Work with the Gamelevate team to help develop a stronger value proposition for partners.
- Structure your time and prioritize effectively through familiarity and use of project management tools, ensuring all deliverables are executed accordingly
- Attend client-facing meetings or trade shows as needed
- This role will have scope to extend to other areas of the business beyond Partnerships
Requirements
- You have a demonstrable ability to build strategic business-to-business partnerships based on a strong understanding of the strengths and needs of both parties
- Experience and proven track record in delivering success within brand partnerships desirable
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Esports and Gaming desirable
- Existing relationship with marketing personnel of brand clients,
- Self-starter with a proactive work ethic and willing to go the extra mile to ensure success
- Strong strategic and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and unshakeable under pressure
