GAME-U’s Accelerate program is a unique program designed by game industry professionals that teaches students with all abilities, including those with intellectual disabilities, how to design and build their own video games.

The Wisconsin Accelerate Program Enrollment Advisor will often be the first point of contact for Accelerate potential participants. As such, the successful candidate must be comfortable developing and maintaining strong relationships with new students, families, and their support team. The Enrollment Advisor works with all of the program’s stakeholders to make our target audience aware of the program, reach out to case managers and consultants, schedule our introductory trial lessons, and acquire and onboard Accelerate program participants.

The Enrollment Advisor will be responsible for maintaining relationships with all existing and new participants in the state of Wisconsin. This responsibility will generally include seeking out and interacting with CLTS Case Managers, Iris Consultants to bring on new program participants, working with the finance team to work through billing issues and working with all participants to ensure adherence of the program to the Accelerate and local rules.

From time to time, the Enrollment Advisor will attend relevant events on behalf of the company such as workshops, disability fairs and conferences to expand the reach of the program, teach relevant community stakeholders about the program and generally help guide new students and their support services personnel through the trial and on-boarding process.

The Enrollment Advisor works on the matters described above as well as other duties as assigned from time to time by the Accelerate Program Director. The Enrollment Advisor must have the ability to travel within Wisconsin as the program expands and safety concerns of Covid-19 are removed.

Skills needed:

The Enrollment Advisor must be highly organized, be a skilled communicator and team player, must be comfortable and effective at interacting with his or her colleagues, engage professionally with students and their parents, support coordinators, enjoy and have experience working with clients with disabilities and must have developed a habit of providing top quality customer service.

Experience:

Preferred experience working as an IRIS consultant, CLTS case manager or knowledge of the Wisconsin DHS Waiver System.
