G2 Esports is looking to expand its Marketing Department with a Product Manager Merchandise!

Using both qualitative consumer insights and quantitative metrics to guide decisions and measure success, you will be responsible for developing and executing the product roadmap. This is a dynamic role with a tremendous impact on how current and future Fans around the world will discover and consume G2 Esports contents.

You will be part of the tight-knit group that consistently reaches their aggressive goals. In this role, you will work with teams both internal and external to design, test, and implement new merchandising fixtures, signage, and in-store marketing events. Your contributions will help G2 Esports to unlock rapid growth.

The role as Product Manager Merchandise will be located in our HQ in Berlin, Germany.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement product strategies consistent with company vision and collect and analyze feedback from all relevant stakeholders to shape requirements, features and end products
  • Work alongside commercial to develop distribution strategy to maximize revenue from all consumer goods
  • Work with senior management to create product plans/roadmaps and product forecast accordingly
  • Manage the full product life cycle from design to fulfilment including the management of involved third parties
  • Ensure G2 brand consistency is realized across all product categories and through all distribution channels
  • Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule by licensers supported by campaign management
  • Liaise with content team to coordinate product and collection releases and promotion
  • Manage the Product Promotion overall and with players and teams in particular

QUALIFICATIONS & JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS in Merchandising, Business or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience in merchandising
  • 5+ years in product management; or an equivalent combination or education or experience
  • Proven ability to analyze and improve processes, measure results, and achieve financial goals
  • Proven ability to present strategy and business goals to senior leaders of the organization
  • Strong analytical and financial skills along with proven negotiation skills
  • Entrepreneurial minded, creative, free-thinker with a strong comfort for taking measurable risks
  • Demonstrated organizing and prioritizing skills, attention to detail, and initiative in completing tasks
  • Thorough understanding of consumer licensing business and practices
  • Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, clearly and concisely and interact effectively at all levels and across the organization
  • Experience in assessing customers, markets, and industry trends
  • Proven team leader with experience in areas of mentoring, coaching, and employee development
