We are looking for an Human Resource manager to oversee all aspects of human resource practices and processes!

Using your human resource knowledge and familiarity with the HR systems and databases, you will help to maintain and manage our internal administration and payroll. Furthermore, you will take charge of the process to find the right person for open positions within G2 Esports. Your part within G2 Esports as the Human Resource Manager is to provide the required support on the administration side for the whole G2 Army.

You will be part of the administrative family that forms the backbone of the organisation. In this role, you will focus on the G2 Army, be that existing Samurais or new positions that we are looking to fill. You will be the contact person for all human resource related manners in the fast-paced world of G2 and esports, and help us thrive in our ongoing expansion. Your contributions will ensure a positive work environment and smooth day-to-day processes.

The role as Human Resource Manager will be located in our HQ in Berlin, Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Human Resource strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Manage the recruitment and candidate selection process
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Maintain payroll and benefit programs
  • Report to management and support strategic and organisational decision making through HR metrics
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  • Build and maintain internal policies
  • Execute HR related administrative tasks

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an HR manager or equivalent position
  • People-oriented and results driven
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Ability to develop and implement strategy, along with taking leadership of projects or strategy where required
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of German labor law; international labor law knowledge is a plus
  • Degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Esports, gaming, entertainment industry experience is a plus
