G2 Esports is looking for a Head of Franchise Development to lead the franchising business of the Organisation.

The person we are looking for will be responsible for planning and managing the franchising business of G2 Esports. They will be responsible for developing franchising opportunities and offering continuous support to franchisees, to ensure the overall success of the project.

The role as Head of Franchise Development will be located in our HQ in Berlin, Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Take over the overall project responsibility for the strategic and operational development of the G2 Esports franchise system
  • Define a first franchise case and execute it from A-Z
  • Prepare and execute a marketing strategy for the Organisation’s franchise opportunity: attracting new franchisees.
  • Management of future franchise partners in Germany – identifying potential candidates, establishing contact and conducting contract negotiations
  • Screen potential franchisee by analysing investment requirements, franchisee’s potential, and financials, franchisee experience and vision
  • Finalize the deal with franchisee by negotiating terms and conditions of each franchisee agreement
  • Look after future franchise partners in Germany – coaching and supporting in all respects, training and providing a regular exchange of experience safely
  • Document and collect company-specific know-how, which is used within the framework of the franchise system
  • Monitor and ensure that budgets are met regarding franchise development.
  • Identify and research potential markets to launch new franchises and advise CEO/Board of new opportunities.
  • Responsible for the launch and development of the franchisee as per the agreed terms and conditions.
  • Assist in the development of Franchise Business Plans
  • Ensure the financial performance and revenue targets of the franchisee is achieved through analysis of its Profit & Loss and KPIs.
  • Work as point of contact between the franchisee and the Organisation, and ensure that any issues/concerns are aptly and timely addressed.
  • Support the day-to-day management of franchise. Advise and support franchisees with all areas of their business including: facility standards, stock management, customer relationship, staffing and recruitment, finances and payments, cost control, expansion.
  • Ensure suggested systems/ processes by the Organisation are deployed & practiced in the franchisee.
  • Ensure that Company’s brand is communicated and maintained in all franchisee communications and marketing activities.
  • Develop the franchise audit plan and conduct the audits.
  • Ensure that the franchisee is in compliance with legal and statutory policies and procedures
  • Franchise legal responsibilities – ensure franchise agreement renewals, fee/ payment collection, and keeping franchise agreements up to date with current legislation.
  • Ensure that franchisee and its staff are trained enough to provide the service experience in line with Organisation’s policies.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in franchise development and management.
  • Selling: Concepts, Business Strategy, Corporate services, Marketing, PR and Business Development.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Great Interpersonal Skills
  • Analytical profile: Understanding franchisor businesses and ability to match franchisee’s requirements with the Organisation’s vision.
  • Go Getter, Persistent, Result Oriented and be able to achieve revenue targets. Must have a proven track record.
  • High ethical standards of integrity & dependability
  • Multi-tasker with leadership skills and hunger for growth.
  • Excellent Organization Skills: Profiling, time and resource management
  • Fluency in German and English, any other language is a plus
