G2 Esports is looking to expand its marketing department with a Head of Brand Management!

As the G2 Esports’ Head of Brand Management, you will play a vital role in our organisation, leading initiatives across our brand and products to grow our consumer reach by creating innovative brand strategies with the focus on driving G2 Esports’ ROI.

As an exceptional leader, you’ll be able to incorporate our brand messaging and values across departments to help strengthen all the content, products, and experiences we create, externally as well as internally.

You’ll oversee a fast growing team in areas from influencer marketing, data marketing, PR, product and brand management.

At our headquarters in the heart of Berlin, you’ll work closely together with the Head of Communications, Commercial Director, and Managing Directors to keep G2 Esports at the top of the game, while ensuring that our branding and messaging is reflected in our activities and remains one of the strongest in esports.

Job description

  • Establishment and maintenance of brand presence in the market following our brand mission and vision
  • Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (e.g. events, digital and traditional communication channels, and promotional material)
  • Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of company objectives
  • Set, monitor, and report on brand goals
  • Coordinate sales and marketing efforts together with Senior Management to boost brand awareness

Job requirements

  • Proven working experience (3+ years) as Head of Branding, Senior Brand Manager or similar
  • Results driven
  • Demonstrable leadership skills
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Highly creative with the ability to think out of box
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skill
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and marketing best practices
  • Comfortable working with numbers, metrics and spreadsheets
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Excellent command of the English language (native-level). German is a plus
  • BSc or MSc in Marketing or relevant field
