What you’ll do

As a Data Engineer you will join our team to build and maintain data pipelines that are used to gather insights on our player-base and how they interact with our platform and the games they play. You will have responsibilities of ownership of data integrations both from our internal systems and external sources. In this role you will be part of our Player Insights team and be located in our central Stockholm office.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Explore, drive, design and implement solutions for deployment/monitoring pipelines
  • Support in maintenance of BI middleware (used to pipe & transform game data)
  • Automate violation monitoring of ETLs/pipelines
  • Maintain tech stack data integrations, BigQuery warehouse and Looker modelling
  • Game data management - updating services/models as new games are added to our system

Please note this position is located in Stockholm, Sweden - we will not be able to provide a visa or travel re-location for this role.

Requirements

  • Data Engineering/Modelling, experience in SQL and building data pipelines
  • Several years of software engineering experience (preferably Python/Java), writing ETLs for data extraction and analysis
  • Several years of experience running queries and compiling data for analytics in connection with data management
  • Experience in monitoring and testing data pipelines
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, science or similar technical field

It’s a plus if you have:

  • GCP/AWS experience
  • Apache Kafka/PubSub experience
  • Worked with Looker or similar modelling/analytics tools
  • Data Science experience
  • Familiar with containerisation (Kubernetes/Docker)
  • Experience with CI/CD
