Full Circle is a studio that was formed in 2021 and we're working on the next evolution of skate. We are proud to build a team that is geo-diverse, and while our home studio is based in Vancouver, BC., our team members have the flexibility to either work from home, in the office or a hybrid of both. We are looking for a Software Engineer- Networking to help us on this incredible endeavour. You will report to the Software Engineer - Systems Lead.

What You'll Do

  • You will build the technology required to support skate's online gameplay features.
  • You will work with EA's internal networking teams to extend and improve existing solutions to better meet our needs.
  • You will keep Skate's online gameplay running smoothly, at quality, and within bandwidth budgets.
  • You'll work with the engineering and design teams to ensure we only send the highest quality bits.
  • You'll develop solutions to track the efficiency of our networking layer.

What You'll Bring

  • 4+ years of experience in C++ software development.
  • Proficiency in integrating and maintaining large-scale systems covering multiple domains.
  • Understanding of networking models employed by games, and their strengths and deficiencies
  • Understanding of memory management, multi-threading, and run-time optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.
