Senior UI Designer

We are looking for an experienced Senior UI Designer to join us in this endeavor.

Responsibilities

  • You will establish the visual language of the UI that includes iconography, typography, visual hierarchy, brand expression and motion that align with the art style of the game.
  • You will shape the UI design system to help ensure that players can enjoy a consistent and immersive gaming experience while navigating the game's interface.
  • You will establish the visual tone of the UI aligning with the overall art direction of the product
  • You will create high fidelity UI screens and components that align with the product's experience goals, usability and accessibility standards and brand

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent graphic/visual design skills, including screen layout, composition, typography, color theory, illustration, and iconography
  • Experience working with multiple stylistic approaches
  • Knowledge of usability principles and designing for accessibility, diversity, and inclusivity
  • Collaborative mindset, to participate in a transparent and learning culture within the team
  • Expertise in the Adobe Suite (PS, AI, XD), Figma and other visual design tools
  • Motion graphics skills, the ability to bring interfaces to life with usability in mind
  • Experience in a team oriented, product-focused environment; you enjoy collaboration and appreciate the exchange of ideas and concepts
  • Strong written and spoken skills; comfort presenting cohesive design approaches
  • Familiarity with technical UI authoring frameworks
  • Experience creating, contributing to and working with Design Systems
  • A portfolio showcasing work samples, inclusive of unique and original designs
