We're looking for a Senior Unity Technical Artist. You would be working very closely with our Creative Studio Head, UI/UX Designers, Artists, Animators and Programmers.

The Senior Technical Artist reports directly to the Creative Studio Head.

Your task is to build a bridge between the artists team and developers. Help them with their vision of putting all the animation efx and build. Working as Technical artists involves you in all aspects of developing the game; participating to help shape the entire pipeline of game features from concept to design and into implementation. You get instant feedback on your work, allowing for constant iteration and improvement as well as the ability to easily prototype new features.

Requirements:

  • BS in related departments
  • 4+ years of applicable professional experience as a technical artist with knowledge of engines (especially Unity) and art pipelines
  • Familiarity working and developing in a multi-platform, multi-project environment.
  • Industry experience with at least 4 shipped titles
  • Ability to demonstrate creativity and technical innovation within the constraints of a platform.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • C# coding expertise
  • Expert at importing and manipulating art assets in Unity Game engine
  • Experience with UI programming, Graphics, Physics.
  • Ability to translate any design into a working product with minimal supervision
  • Drive to keep the team together and be on top of your game.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact closely with the core game creative team to develop a working build along with the efx and animation required for each game.
  • Proactively identify and solve problems before they affect the production process.
  • Do research of different animation styles, new techniques/ technology across multiple art disciplines to aid creativity, qualities and efficiency.
  • Kneen to grow and be updated with the latest research and techniques in the market.
  • Own and complete core client side technical features
  • Proficiently execute Unity-related items such as animations, UI effects, and audio.
  • Work with artists and other team members to determine optimal formats, scales, pipeline improvements, and other elements for asset export to Unity.
  • Debug problems, make builds, and help ship great, successful products!
  • Assist to production/development meetings.
  • Take ownership of the product and assist your team players during production
  • Ability to make games builds for Switch platform as well.
  • Work in partnership with Product Owners/Producers/ Team Leads and Creative Head.
