Frontier is an established, market leading independent developer and publisher of videogames for PC and consoles. Founded in 1994, we are based in the world-leading technology cluster and historic city of Cambridge, England.

With a growing team of over 600 talented people, we are passionate about creating innovative genre-leading games and authentic worlds for our communities of players.

We have achieved serial successes across a wide variety of titles including Elite Dangerous, Planet Coaster, Jurassic World Evolution and Planet Zoo.

We are continuing to grow our team to support our existing portfolio and an exciting and ambitious future roadmap, which includes the development of both own-IP titles and licensed-IP titles. Our IP-license partners include Universal (Jurassic World), Formula 1 and Games Workshop (Warhammer).

We are also growing our team to continue the growth of Frontier Foundry, our games label for publishing games developed by carefully selected partner studios.

Frontier produces a wide variety of games to be played on all manner of hardware, peripherals, control schemes, play styles and player abilities. It is the role of the Compatibility Lab to ensure that stability and performance expectations are met across all projects, with thorough checks performed to ensure our games continue to meet our high standards.

Successful candidates will determine and assemble hardware to destructively test, replicate reported issues, create test suites, generate reports and provide feedback to the Development Teams with the facts they need; be that to ensure parity across all platforms with a new game or checking that a new change fits seamlessly into the experience of playing a game without affecting performance.

We are seeking a technically minded communicator who is looking to challenge themselves in a role that includes both working as part of a team and on individual assignments. If you have strong technical knowledge of the leading console and PC configurations with a passion for games and game-play then we'd love to hear from you!
