Your mission

As a department head for our design team you are responsible for a central area in one of the world's leading Esports agencies. Worldwide, Freaks 4U Gaming GmbH works with open-minded, challenging and demanding customers to reach a young, smart and innovative target group. Our designers therefore work across departments to implement services for our customers or create new, great brands and esports outlets.

• You have professional and disciplinary responsibility for the design team and are responsible for the training and personal development of the design staff
• You will be the first creative point of contact for the development of visual concepts and designs for TV, web and print and will apply your design knowledge and experience to organize projects, define efforts and set milestones
• You work with various project management and design tools to help shape the day-to-day work of your team
• You set up your team for large projects and are an expert in optimal resource planning
• You are responsible for the continuous development of processes and structures in the dynamic everyday life of the agency, including invoicing for the design team
• You are in close coordination with your team, management and other departments

Your profile

• You have a degree or training in the field of design
• You bring some management experience as well as several years of professional experience in the agency, marketing or TV industry
• You have experience using project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, Monday or Sprintly
• You demonstrate assertiveness and can inspire employees, colleagues and customers
• You have managed large projects independently and have already gained relevant professional experience in the creation of designs for digital products
• You work professionally with the Adobe Creative Suite, in particular with Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator
• You maintain a very creative and user-oriented mindset and have both conceptual and strategic strengths
• You possess a feeling for trends and a pronounced preference for individual designs
• You are highly motivated and possess an organized way of working
• You are fluent in German and English
