About the role (the mission, why this role exists, the thing you do over and over again)
The Data Engineer will work directly with the data team to build, maintain, scale and improve data at different stages of the data pipeline. In addition to providing useful data to the BI and Analytics teams, you will be responsible for enhancing data quality across the company, boosting our decision-making process and growing our business.
What you’ll achieve (outcomes vs what people will do)
- Work with the data team to develop and maintain a large-scala data pipeline
- Participate in the decision-making process related to data architecture
- Support the different stages of the data cycle with modeled and optimized data
- Collaborate with BI and Analytics teams in a dynamic environment
What you’ll need to be successful (competencies)
- Hands-on experience in building batch and streaming data pipelines
- Proficiency in Apache Spark with Python or Scala
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases
- Advanced English, capable of communicating with others
- Experience with some AWS Services like S3, Glacier, Kinesis and Redshift
- Experience with some unified data platform like Databricks
- Experience with game industry
