As Event Coordinator, you will work with local and regional tournament organizers to help host events and tournaments at our facility. You will need to be able to network and help convince them why they should host their event at Forge.

Responsibilities

• Network with local and regional tournament organizers to bring events to Forge Gaming Center.
• Understand the differences and similarities of the different gaming communities.
• Become invested in not only the Austin gaming community, but the Texas gaming community as a whole to better understand what people want.
• Become a symbol of Forge Gaming Center. When people think of Forge, they think of you.
• Help organizers with hosting their events through technical support.
• Be available to work 7 days a week, primarily in the afternoons and evenings.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding and passion of trends in gaming and esports.
• Comfortable using all forms of social media including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Twitch.
• Outward customer facing skills.
• Background in event or tournament organization is preferred.
• Experience in building a community is a plus.
• Experience with Photoshop is a plus.
