We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Product Management to join our team.

Role of Director Product Management at ForeVR

You are a highly motivated, strategic problem solver interested in building your product management department from the ground up. Partnering with the CEO, Director of Marketing, and VP’s of Game Development, you will build and identify key metrics and data visualizations needed for each game driving team and leadership alignment for strategy, goals and objectives that informs ForeVR game designs, marketing promotions, and content. As Director of Product, you will work with the game VPs to build monthly, quarterly, and yearly content roadmaps. To thrive in this position, you will need to demonstrate an exceptional ability to lead product initiatives from start-to-finish, ideate product opportunities that will complement business and revenue goals, while identifying market conditions and emerging trends to help capitalize the game’s success.

Role Responsibilities

  • Build the product management team, process, and standards for highly social VR single purchase titles along with free to play and download content.
  • Set VR game goals and targets in partnership with the CEO, CCO, VP of products and director of marketing.
  • Collaborate with the CCO, a small team of product managers and game designers to help define product vision and strategy.
  • Devise a product development roadmap setting the overall cadence for production.
  • Oversees product lifecycle process, drive product level changes and communicate those changes to your team in order to attain maximum productivity.
  • Analyze game metrics to provide key insights into product performance to uncover opportunities for sustained engagement, retention, growth, user enjoyment, and future monetization.
  • Coordination of project development statuses with each team’s producers as it relates to deadlines, productivity goals, and milestones.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as a senior-level product manager or senior-level digital producer leading significant cross-organizational projects.
  • Experience leading and or building a team of product managers/producers driving key business objectives.
  • Experience in setting requirements for metrics and dashboard for a live service.
  • Experience in a high tech/software engineering or game design setting and can quickly get up to speed on the distinctive nature of our system architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize requirements across a multi-disciplinary workspace.
  • Experience launching a Free to Play Mobile title
  • Exceptional time management and planning skills, organized with the ability to multitask, exceptional follow up skills and able to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational sense and process-driven mentality
  • Strong managerial skills with the ability to lead and support cross-functional teams.
  • Highly strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to also think creatively.
