As Global Content Planner at Fnatic, you'll be the organisational guru at the heart of making sure our innovative social activity across all areas of our business reaches as many people as possible, at the right time. You'll be a natural communicator, able to understand the needs of various stakeholders and quickly gain a reputation for being obsessive about delivery. With a global social audience of millions and multiple channels and platforms, you'll thrive on multi-tasking and keeping your eye on many moving parts.

Your mission is to:

  • Ensure timely posting and execution of Fnatic's social content across a variety of platforms
  • Maintain Fnatic's global social media calendar, ensuring all committed deliverables are tracked
  • Work closely with the Studio function to ensure all assets required for posting are delivered in line with campaign timeframes
  • Drive awareness of relevant cultural dates to make sure appropriate content plans are in place
  • Build strong relationships with marketing stakeholders from each of Fnatic's pillars and proactively communicate issues where you see them
  • Build understanding of social platform specifics, and align calendar posting commitments with known algorithm best practice for maximum impact
  • Develop ability to quality control content output, working closely with the Editorial Lead to understand Fnatic's tone of voice
  • Maintain awareness of esports and social trends, and ensure Fnatic is well placed to innovate first
  • Monitor platforms for breaking/viral content and alert channel owners
  • Work with the Data Analyst to generate social insights and and share performance analytics internally
  • Perform quick content edits where needed for reactive posting
  • Support coverage of live events as required

We're looking for:

  • Proven experience managing social calendar/posting across multiple channels
  • Knowledge of project management/planning tools
  • Understanding of social platform specifics (especially Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook) and associated best practice
  • Mastery of social analytics tools and experience with reporting
  • Commercial mindset and understanding of branded content campaigns
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency and delivery focus
  • Desire to immerse yourself in the world of esports
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, other languages desirable
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and ability to make quick turnaround content edits desirable
