As Data Analyst (Product) at Fnatic, you’ll have your finger on the pulse across our consumer product portfolio and generate insights to drive growth of our direct-to-consumer business. Your analysis will help optimise sales and margins, inform sales planning, range building, inventory management and promotional activity, and ultimately ensure we have the right product in the right place at the right time at SKU level globally. You’ll also play an important role in providing relevant analysis to stakeholders for decision making about our broader product strategy, and be a conduit between Product, Ecommerce, Finance, and Tech.

Your mission is to:

  • Analyse product sales figures, market trends and consumer tastes to anticipate demand and generate a SKU level forecast
  • Manipulate and model data, answering important business questions and make data-driven recommendations on prioritisation
  • Develop strong insight gathering to ensure relevant data is captured and generate timely reports
  • Recommend stock level holdings based on insights, balancing maximising best sellers against carrying too much inventory
  • Propose pricing strategy for agreed product ranges,
  • Participate in range planning and make recommendations based on analysis of past performance
  • Build dashboards to communicate product insights across Fnatic
  • Run statistical experiments to optimise Fnatic’s business, and collaborate with product leadership to define, develop and refine KPIs
  • Work closely with the Logistics/SCM team to ensure relevant information is always available on demand
  • Look for ways to automate manual processes and work closely with the Engineering team to scope and prioritise projects

We're looking for:

  • Commercial experience generating insights from large volumes of data, ideally in an ecommerce environment
  • Strong SQL capability and working knowledge of one or more of Python, R, Tableau
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • A smart, strategic thinker who is great at solving problems (not just ones that involve numbers!)
  • Excellent planning and project management skills, able to deliver to deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Comfort working with stakeholders across all levels of the business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English, additional languages desirable
