Fnatic is looking for a diligent Accounts Payable Assistant to join our dynamic Finance team at a time of significant growth. Fnatic's unique brand and business model sees us engaged in a variety of commercial activities, from partnerships with global brands to direct-to-consumer product sales. Your day to day will range from reconciling employee expenses and purchase ledger management to payment runs, reconciliation and systems management. Your mission is to:
- Manage accounts payable processes end to end, including organising and facilitating weekly payment runs
- Undertake day-to-day finance tasks including coding and entering supplier invoices, processing purchase order requests, and reconciliation of supplier statements
- Manage Fnatic's centralised purchasing platform, Spendesk, resolving queries and processing employee expenses
- Manage cashbooks and bank reconciliations at entity and group level
- Help manage the central finance mailboxes, positioning yourself as a first point of contact for internal and external queries
- Ensure internal controls and processes are adhered to
- Be a champion of finance related systems and software, including Xero, Spendesk, ReceiptBank and Chart.io
- Provide support to the team during the month end close process, and adhoc assistance with projects and Accounts Receivable duties where necessary
- Work with the team to develop robust processes and system improvements to continually drive efficiencies
- Work on ad-hoc projects as defined by your manager
We're looking for:
- Entry-level experience in a dynamic finance team (1-2 years in a start up/scale up environment desirable, but not essential)
- Exposure to a range of Accounts Payable processes
- Partial CIMA/ACCA/ACA (or similar) qualification, or willingness to commence soon
- Ability to multi-task effectively whilst maintaining a high quality of output
- Self-motivation and desire to add value to the business
- An spreadsheet expert, and able to turn your hand to a variety of systems and software
- Confident communication to internal and external stakeholders
- Comfort working under pressure and to strict deadlines
- A natural gift for accuracy and strong attention to detail
- A flexible approach to workload and internal change
- A team player with a sense of humour and passion for driving efficiencies
