We're looking for a Senior Designer to join an established team working on an exciting multiplayer shooter project which is in the later stages of production. In this role you will work closely with the team and client, from developing an pitching new game ideas through to implementing features and mentoring staff.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual looking for their next challenge, as this section of the game is in a prime position for an exciting overhaul that delivers on the original vision as well as enhances it with new core pillars, ideas and content.

This is an extremely dynamic project, collaborating with a very high profile external client, utilising their rich, creative assets and pipelines to deliver an original multiplayer experience as part of their wider IP proposition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learning about the wider game and finding opportunities to enhance it
  • Imagining and documenting features, balance or UX improvements
  • Taking these features from initial ideation, through documentation, prototype, and full production
  • Owning features and working with cross discipline teams to deliver quality
  • Working with QA and Community to iterate on balance and implementation during live release
  • Accurately planning your work
  • Assisting more junior members of the design team
  • Helping plan content for future updates

Requirements

  • Ability to deliver high quality work, with very little guidance from others
  • Exceptional creativity and design skills
  • Energetic and positive attitude
  • Obsessive about delivering the very best player experience
  • Pro-active communication
  • Strong knowledge of at least 1 industry standard engine
  • Working knowledge of Agile development
  • Basic knowledge in Maya / 3DS Max
  • Good knowledge of industry standard packages (MS Office, Hansoft/Jira, Perforce etc)
  • Experience in systems design
  • Significant professional game development experience with an impressive portfolio
  • Be a pro-active communicator, working collaboratively with the wider team
