Final Strike Games is looking for a creative and innovative Principal VFX Artist to contribute to the creation of class-leading multiplayer games.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Work closely with Art and Creative Teams to help define the VFX styles for FSG game projects.
  • Rapidly iterate on sample VFX to provide visual examples to stakeholders while prototyping for new projects.
  • Create the highest quality, shippable VFX assets for FSG game projects.
  • Work with Technical Art team members to help establish and improve VFX workflows and create performant VFX assets.
  • Work with Production and Art Leads to estimate VFX tasking and ensure on-time delivery of assets.
  • Mentor more junior members of the VFX team as necessary to help improve the overall skill base and output of the VFX team.

Requirements

  • 8 years minimum of professional experience as VFX artist
  • Minimum of 2 shipped titles for PC or Console as a VFX artist
  • Experienced in creating multiple visual styles of VFX
  • Experienced with real-time VFX authoring tools
  • Excellent grasp of VFX performance measurement and tuning
  • Robust communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Able to independently and creatively solve VFX technical challenges
